As summer draws to an end (or winter progresses if you live in that hemisphere...forgive the mixed up seasons), we sometimes feel like we are in a storm of things that need to get done. Life seemed to be sailing along smoothly and then BAM! We get hit with waves we didn't expect.
If we are following Jesus, we need to remind ourselves that though He never promised smooth sailing He does promise to bring us safely home. Though we know our ultimate safety is assured, it helps to be reminded that the shorter journeys on the way are also under His control. Thanks for this “storm” video. Very meaningful to me just now on my own journey. You and ECC are the best. Thanks to God for all you are — and to you for all you do in and through His grace. I’m edified always by what I read and hear from ECC.

I’m praying right now that Jesus be very close to you and that he give you great peace in the midst of the storms in your journey. Always so interesting me to that he didn’t keep them from going through the storm–but he did get them safely on the other side.
