Successful Seasonal Strategies, how to grow your church in numbers and your people in spiritual maturity

26 October, 2021 By Yvon Prehn Leave a Comment

As we go into the fall season, we know this time of year has incredible potential for inviting people to church and introducing them to Jesus. Churches will be putting on incredible events and typically many people show up for them.

The challenge is that most churches are disappointed with the less than expected return of guests to the next Sunday service.

This video will teach you a NEW system (and point you to lots of free resources to help you implement it) on how to create your seasonal communications so you will have a continuing response to your hard work.

Here is the video on it:

Note: this video is part of a new FOUNDATIONAL series on church communications

I am in the process of redoing many things in this ministry and I will do a more formal announcement in the future, but one of them is I am shifting the training videos out of one of the programs that required you to sign up for some sort of training school, (and cost me to host and use) and am now making them free on YouTube.

This is a big challenge for me, but after much thought and prayer, it seemed like the right thing to do. YouTube has matured tremendously over the recent years and has more and more serious training is on it. In addition, if someone creates enough and has enough followers YouTube will pay you a percentage of their advertising income for your work.

This requires tremendous commitment on the part of content creators. You must have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watched video hours in a year to initially qualify for their monetization program and then you must get very large numbers of views on a continuing basis to make anything approaching even part-time income from it. It seems very challenging, yet as I thought about it I realized that I feel called to help church communicators and if I help all those that I feel will honestly benefit from what I have to share.

Though I tried many hosts and systems, I couldn't make it work with the paid-for hosting services. I hated charging for training that I knew churches needed so I ended up making most of the courses free anyway. Then I had to work another job to pay for the hosting services. This way, the training will be free for all and if the Lord blesses I will make an income from it.

Please pray for me for strength and wisdom that I can get the volume of materials redone and up on my YouTube site (www.YouTube.com/yvonprehn) so that I can help church communicators with the knowledge and experience I've been given over a lifetime of working in this ministry and that I can make a living doing it. I have so much material that I believe is useful to church communicators who are flooded with the same messages that all they need is the latest tech or social media ministry tool and their church will explode. I'm all for latest tech and social media (I am sharing this online), but there are basic skills and strategies needed that can make the use of these tools truly effective. That's what I can provide.

AND if the material is useful to you, please subscribe to the channel and tell your fellow church communicators about it.

Much more will be coming on this.
