A prayer for Grace for all nations
The materials here share a prayer for Grace for all nations that is desperately needed in our contentious times.

No matter where you fall on the political spectrum on any issue, I think one thing we can all agree on is that as Christians, we most sincerely need to act in GRACE to those we may disagree with from a little bit to a lot.

This is also a time for two nations to celebrate their national holidays and for that, a few years ago I created the flyers here, and PowerPoint slides you can use to commemorate this time.

For all of us, let's remember above all that we are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, our ultimate allegiance is to our Lord Jesus, and He commands us to love each other and grant each other grace as He does for us.

Summer postcard to encourage people to attend church
Here is a FREE set of summer postcards to remind people to keep coming to church.

Here is a set of cards you can print to remind people to come to church during the summer.

The all the images were created as 1/4 page postcards in MS Publisher. I then made PDFs of them that are ready to print. I intentionally left a white margin around the images so if you print them in the church office and are a little off in your cutting them apart, you'll still be OK. If you get them professionally printed you might want to add run the image all the way to the edge of the template size the online companies provide. A prayer for Grace for all nations
A prayer for Grace for all nations is desperately needed in our contentious times.

Grace, unmerited favor and kindness, which we receive from God and should share with our fellow pilgrims on this earth, is something we need now more than ever. To encourage that I created some Instagram images for you, plus the short video below.

Please watch the video as a prayer.

The materials above are an updating of a project a few years ago when I wrote up the acronym GRACE as a prayer to celebrate the 4th of July, taking as my inspiration the line from the song, "America, America, God shed his grace on thee."

A little reminder may be all someone needs to get them to return to church instead of taking a vacation from it!

August is the last month of vacation for many and in many churches the time when attendance drops to an all-time low.

Though understandable, sometimes all people need is a reminder that God doesn't take a vacation and neither does the church. The set of postcards here are part of a FREE ZIP file (link below the images) that you could send out to people who perhaps have been sporadic in their attendance during the summer. The cards are upbeat and encouraging and an easy way to let people know you are thinking about them.

You could also make up extra cards for members of the congregation to address and send to friends that they know may have missed church in the summer.

Back-to-church invite cards for late summer events–Free Templates and PDFs

If you are holding a summer community outreach event, these cards are essential to bring visitors back to your church.

Many churches hold end-of-the-summer events. Ours ours does a Lemon Festival with a free community BBQ and a huge lemon dessert contest. We are a neighborhood church that was built in a former lemon grove and the festival is a fun and fitting way to invite the community to the church one more time.

If your church is doing something like that, make the most of the event by giving everyone an invitation card that invites them back to church. If you are truly reaching out to people who don't normally attend church, they have no idea what else you do or when you do it.

A card that gives details and links to your website and social media can make all the difference.
